Every year the flower show invites local artists to be a part of our annual flower show. Creatives are invited to enter a work of art that relates to the theme. The competition is for the senior population aged 55 and older. The work will be exhibited just outside the main display. There are two ways to win: 1) Guests of the show vote to determine the People's Choice Winners 2) Staff judges choose the winners who best reflect the theme and fulfill competition outline. Young Artists Wanted: Kid's Art CompetitonPrizes!
Every year the flower show invites youth artists to be a part of our annual flower show. Artists are invited to enter an original work of art or color in a template. The competition children of all ages. The work will be exhibited in the Maplewood Estates complex during the show. Come on kids, show us your creativity! Staff judges choose the winners in several different age brackets.
Senior Groups Wanted: Container Garden Contest
Cash Prize Awarded to the Group with the most guest votes !
Every year the flower show invites senior groups to design a miniature garden to be displayedin the main flower show exhibit. Groups are invited to enter according to the rules outlined on the information below. This year's challenge is to design a place setting using live plant material. Winners are decided by popular vote of participating guests.
