2007 Flower Show

SIMPLY FANTASTIC!

The 2007 Flower Show invited guests travel the globe on some quirky modes of transportation. Five country scenes were depicted: Holland, Mexico, Ireland, Germany & Japan. The show was noted for its dramatic use of color schemes with each country housing an entirely different feeling and flair. Despite some pretty nasty winter weather, the show was a great success: kicking off the Auxiliary’s Campaign to purchase 72 new Health care beds for the health care center. The show each year is created by a group of exuberant residents and volunteers called the Flower Show Gang. They get plenty of support from local businesses, garden centers, and nurseries. We thank all who play their part in the show’s production each year!  Not only does the Flower Show demonstrate the power of the community working together, but it created another simply fantastic event!

Next Year’s Flower Show "Back the Old Country Road" will be
March 14-15, 2008

Approximately 5000 guests enjoy the show every year.  The flowers, which are provided largely from two sources – area growers and Meadowbrook Farms in Rydal, were spectacular. Past Shows
