Baby Shower Held for a Whole Lot of Mommies.

A baby shower might sound like an odd thing to hold at a retirement community, but this one had a great purpose. It was a creative approach to helping others in our community as well as a way to look at ourselves a little differently.  As staff members (pictured) playfully sport their faux bellies - everyone got into the spirit of the event.

The shower began with a display of baby pictures from residents and staff. Guests chose the cutest baby photos and got to see their friends as babies. There were also memory games and a fun comparison of baby products and prices across generations.
