for Wednesday, October 21, when the area’s premier autumn event takes place on the 100 acre campus of Peter Becker Community. Bigger and better than ever, this year’s Senior Expo & Health Fair is a community celebration that showcases 75 businesses offering products and services of interest to the senior community.

Paul A. Nye, VP of Mission Support, is excited about this year’s Senior Expo. “We have brought together even more exhibitors this year who provide in-demand services for seniors. Visitors can learn about professional services such as insurance, financial planning and real estate, get the latest information on travel planning, shop for jewelry and cosmetics, see original art from local artists, meet local authors, get remodeling tips, and sample delicious food.”

Nye also notes that the Health Fair exhibitors will once again provide important information and free health screenings to help seniors gain better insights into their health and allow them to sample the types of services readily available in the North Penn/Indian Valley region. Some of the services available include skin screenings, blood pressure checks, chair massages, hearing and vision screenings, memory games, stroke risk assessments, balance and fall assessments, nutritional counseling, and fitness plans.

Free tours of the award winning Maplewood Estates apartment complex and tasty food treats will be available during the day. All visitors have a chance to win great door prizes.
