Support Groups Meet on Campus and Offer Help to the Greater Community
If you or someone you know is struggling with age-related problems, a support group could do a world of good.The following support groups are held monthly are open to the public.

questions or if you would like to participate. Heart StringsMeets: 2nd Thursday of each month at 4 PM in the Arbor Conference Center* (ACC); for people with a loved one suffering from dementia.
Focus:Sharing struggles, coping & guest speakers
Approved by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Parkinson’s Disease
Meets: 4th Tuesday of each month at 1 PM in the ACC; for people living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Focus: Guest speakers present monthly on new treatments, methods to overcome disease
changes and more; each session closes with small group discussions.
Vision Support
Meets: 4th Monday of each month at 2 PM in the ACC; for people with low vision (example: macular degeneration, cataracts, changes in vision).
Focus: Guest speakers and members present on assistive devices to help people
continue to read, participate in activities and live independently.
