Specially Selected to Serve on National Committee

Peter Becker Community is proud to announce that Jennifer Nolte, RN-BC was selected as a Standard Setting Participant for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program (NNAAP®) for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).

NCSBN, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is responsible for developing the examination content for the NNAAP®.

Jennifer Nolte, RN-BC, Staff Development Coordinator of Peter Becker Community was approved and nominated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to participate in the test development panel meeting that was held in Chicago, Illinois. Nolte was one of ten nurses from across the nation to be selected for the assignment. She was nominated on the basis of clinical specialty and nursing expertise.

Nolte performs hands-on training in Peter Becker Community’s Certified Nursing Assistant program as part of her role at the company.

According to Nolte, “It was a real honor to be chosen to serve on the panel. CNA’s are vital in the comfort and safety of people.  It is essential that they have a solid understanding of the materials and skills that are required of them. The NCSBN is committed to ensuring patient safety across all healthcare environments.  As a healthcare professional with over 25 years of experience in senior services I feel that participating in the panel discussion allows for the voice of long term care and older adult services to be heard.“
