It’s Time to Pick Your Classes for Fall Expanding Horizons

Aug 23, 2016

Expanding Horizons

The Expanding Horizons educational program was formed in 1996 to promote adult enrichment opportunities in the community. The Expanding Horizons Committee includes staff and resident representatives of retirement communities Dock Woods, Frederick Living, Lutheran Community at Telford, Peter Becker Community, The Community at Rockhill and Souderton Mennonite Homes. The Committee also includes representatives from Generations of Indian Valley and Encore Experiences at Harleysville.

The Fall 2016 Expanding Horizons classes will be held Thursdays, October 6, October 13, October 20, and October 27 at Peter Becker Community’s Maplewood Estates. For the fall season, we will offer a single outstanding series in the 9:00am time slot, Highlights of 20 Years. For the 10:30am time slot, participants may choose two sessions: Local History OR The Impressionists: Linking Art, Music, and Poetry.

The cost of the four-week series is $20.00, made payable to Peter Becker Community with registration. This non-refundable fee includes registration in two chosen sessions and refreshments during the break. The non-refundable registration fee and registration are due by September 8, 2016. Class size is limited, so be sure to register early! Stop by Generations for a course catalog and registration form or download printable copies here:
