A Tribute to Ronald R. Moyer and Donald R. Price for a lifetime of contributions.
At a special reception on December 15, 2016, Peter Becker Community presented Ronald R. Moyer and Donald Price with Lifetime Achievement Awards. The story of these gentlemen is seated in faith, vision and hard work dating back to 1964. They had many meaningful contributions in bringing the community to life and nurturing its continued growth.

About the Recipients
Ronald Moyer was honored for his dedication and lasting contributions made while carefully nurturing the organization along its journey to becoming the highly respected premier continuing care retirement community it is today.
Moyer served on the board of directors for nine years prior to becoming the first employee in 1968. He was originally hired to raise funds and interest in the development of a nursing home. Moyer was the first administrator, a role he served for 25 years until his retirement in 1994. He is currently a resident, living in one of the Crescent Meadows Cottages with his wife Diane.
Donald Price, like Moyer, served as a board member in the early days of the organization. Price’s service extended beyond the role of a board member when he acted as the legal counsel in 1965. He continued serving for a total of 28 years including roles as Vice Chairman of the board in 2003 and Chairman from 2004 until 2012. He is retiring from the board in December 2016 and has been given the title of Director Emeritus.
The dedication and service from both Ronn Moyer and Donald Price have paved the way for the future of Peter Becker Community. Their tradition proudly continues through the committed leadership and staff that presently serve the community.
