We are pleased to report no new cases of COVID-19 among staff or residents in Skilled Nursing or Personal Care. We are also grateful that our employee who had previously tested positive has been medically cleared and returned to work. Two staff members who exhibited symptoms and had been self-isolating were reported as testing negative for COVID-19.
We are, however, deeply saddened to report that one resident, who we previously reported had tested positive for COVID-19, has passed away in Skilled Nursing. During this difficult time, our hearts and prayers are with the family members of this resident as well as the staff that loved and cared for them.
We continue to be blessed by the outpouring of support for our heroic staff members. Residents, families and friends continue to be a source of encouragement as we face all this together.
We have been asked if we have enough personal protective equipment for our staff to perform their jobs safely. We’d like to report that we are well-stocked with all forms of masks, visors, gloves, gowns, suits etc. We truly appreciate the concern for our staff.
