As a follow-up to our mass testing which occurred on Friday, we have been made aware that one employee has tested positive for Covid 19. We have approximately 120 tests outstanding. This employee, a member of our Personal Care team, is self-isolating at home.
We continue to take a proactive approach in identifying positive cases of Covid 19 among residents and team members at Peter Becker Community. Had we not done mass testing, we would have never known of this positive case. We believe that mass testing will continue to help us manage our way through the recent Montgomery County surge which is at a much higher level than it was in the spring.
In an effort to focus on the safety of our residents and team members, we are now closed to all visitors on campus, effective immediately.
