This week we were notified that 2 residents in Residential Living had tested positive for Covid-19. A third person is probable to have positive results returned. These individuals and those that interacted closely with them are isolating for the appropriate designated time.
Please be aware that the following symptoms should be considered a sign of Covid-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
We ask visitors that have symptoms to stay away from campus. In addition, if you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 10 days, are currently waiting for results from a Covid-19 test or have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the past 10 days, please refrain from coming onto campus. Residents should isolate and ask for testing if they have any symptom(s), and employees are now asked to get clearance for returning to work from Deb Ferry, Director of Nursing.
We ask all residents and team members to take extra caution during this time of high exposure in our county. Although uncomfortable, wear masks as often as possible. We are currently operating with a mask policy for all areas of our community other than inside private residences. Please help us keep all residents and employees safe by taking all possible precautions.
