During the last few days we have had a number of residents and staff test positive for COVID-19 in all areas of the campus including Residential Living. This is a very contagious virus and the Montgomery County positivity and transmission rates remain high. While the symptoms at this moment have not been severe, we are recommending that everyone is more cautious in your daily interactions with others.
We are not implementing a mask requirement for residents at this time in Maplewood Estates but urge anyone with health concerns to wear a mask for their own protection. We do require masks at all times in the Campus Center.
We are not restricting dining guests or implementing any other limitations.
We are requesting that anyone with cold like symptoms to not visit the campus under any circumstances.
Most importantly we are asking you to be aware of the high infection rate and to take steps to help limit everyone’s exposure.
